About us
At this moment the Costarican entity (‘la compañia’) behind the Hacienda, officially called and registered as ‘Hacienda la Esperanza Int. de Heredia S.A.’ is owned by a committed and environmentally concerned group of Dutch, private and business investors. They all strongly believe in the triangle People Planet Profit. Forest Returns bv, a Dutch based well-known and broad experienced reforestation company took the initiative to develop the multidimensional concept of Hacienda la Esperanza in 2004 and is founding share holder of ‘la compañia’ .
Forest Returns regards Hacienda la Esperanza as the flagship of her fleet, besides her other reforestation activities and future reforestation processes and programmes in:
- Europe; f.i. The Netherlands, Germany, France, Scotland, Turkey
- Central America; f.i. Costa Rica (besides Hacienda la Esperanza other projects as well),
- South America; f.i. Brazil (Mato Grosso & Amazonas), Ecuador
- Africa; f.i. Ghana, South Africa,
- Asia; China (Yunnan), Indonesia (Kalimantan & Sumatra)
